This beginning boater class will give you the knowledge needed to obtain a boat safety certification in many states. Many boat insurance companies will offer discounts to those who successfully complete this course. Covered topics include: introduction to boating, boating law, boat safety equipment, safe boating, navigation, boating problems, trailing, storing and protecting your boat, hunting and fishing, water-skiing and river boating. A $40.00 material fee is required and is to be paid in class. 6 sessions.
