This course is designed to strengthen student’s foundational knowledge of popular applications of statistical analytic techniques in behavioral science, with emphasis on classical univariate inferential techniques. Topics covered include a review of probability theory and sampling distributions, data evaluation, correlation, multiple regression, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and categorical data analysis and other nonparametic approaches. Emphasis of the course will be placed on conceptual knowledge, application, and interpretation of the results.
