Discussing different cultures, this course ties the extent to which culture affects perceptions, decisions and behavior with how to approach management of cultural differences to achieve organizational effectiveness. Major topics include approaches to managing a culturally diverse workforce or team, ethics versus custon, culture and gender and non-Western style work days and weeks. Additionally, the course addresses expatriates, culture shock, repatriation and preparing for overseas travel and assignments.
