This course introduces students to the fundamentals of managment accounting. The emphasis is on the use of accounting information to satisfy specific management objectives. After taking this course, students will understand the three broad objectives of a management accounting information system: to provide information for costing out services, products, and other objects of interest to management; to provide information for planning, controllnig, evaluation and continuous improvement; and to provide information for decision making.
