This course prepares students to work with clients who are experiencing a life threatning illness. Students will explore physical, psychological, spiritual, emotional, and sociocultural concerns typically encountered by clients and families confronted with the terminal illness. Emphasis will be given to the significanceof the interprofessional approach to providing this kind of care with a focus on the professions of social work and nursing.
