Fundamental knowledge on the physics of remote sensing, photogrammetry, multispectral, hyperspectral, thermal imaging and RADAR and LIDAR principles are reviewed in lectures while lab assignments cover image processing, environmental modeling and analysis. Course objective is to introduce students to the principles of remote sensing and recent advances in the discipline.
