This course will privide an overview of environmental law. The course will address the following environmental laws: common law environmental remedies; National Environmental Policy Act; the Clean Air Act; the Water Pollution Act; Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA); Comprehensie Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA); the Endangered Species Act; Toxic Substances Control Act; and the Federal Insecticide, Funguicide, and Rodenticide Act. The students will be taught the basic provisions of these laws and how to identify when factual situations trigger the application, requirements, and restriction of these laws.
