An introduction to the parts of the Criminal Justice system and the interrelationship of these parts, incorporating the development of the CJ model. The three areas of this model are studied: law enforcement, judicial/legal, and corrections. The Criminal Justice system is viewed in its historical development as well as in its relationship to contemporary social issues. A required course for Criminal Justice, Economic Crime Investigation and Forensic Science (CSI) majors.
