This course is for practicing teachers working toward an endorsement in "general science" for middle school teaching. It includes the methods of science as applied to general biology, molecular and cellular biology, classical and contemporary genetics, evolution and ecology. Laboratory and field based experiences are integrated throughout the course and make up a significant part of the course.
