Description:
This course will combine learning from a lecture series presented by the National Geographic Society (NGS) with workshops that integrate content from the lectures to improve the participants' teaching skills. Targeted skills include the use of specific technologies in geography as well as those teachers use to provide inquiry learning, integrated instruction, and group investigations. Participants will include only those teachers who register for the lecture series, "Live from Nationa Geographic," and also attend workshops.
