This course will emphasize advanced yoga philosophy and practice and advanced art therapy and practice. The emphasis will be on in-depth understanding of the relation between philosophical basis and practice of yoga and a person's way of life. The emphasis of art therapy will be on in-depth understanding of art therapy and practice and its relation to a person's lifestyle. The philosophical view is based on Pantanjali's yoga system, including yoga paths, advanced postures and their variations. In addition, advanced breathing techniques, relaxation techniques, meditation function of mind, and stress management will be emphasized in this course. Art topics will be focused on creativity, self-expression, and appreciation of diversity. Integration of body, mind and how to live a stress free and contented life will be the focus of this course.
