An investigation of the evolution of American narrative film history form the end of World War II until the present. This course introudces students to the creative and technological development in a given time period and exposes them to a variety of ways of analyzing American films. Films are investigated according to their historical, technological, aesthetic and ideological significance, as well as their genre placement.
