This course is designed for upper level undergraduate and will build on concepts covered in introductory biology using skills and knowledge gained in Cell Biology and Physiology. We will look at patterns of normal and abnormal development in the embryo emphasizing development interactions between cells and systems and how these systems are disrupted during development leading to birth defets. The course is designed to give students the basic knowledge needed to go on into research or professional school. Lecture and laboratory.
