Description:
Anthropology major commits to a 1-3 credit hour internship at the Mitchell Museum of the American Indian in Evanston. Work experiences can include curation, education, inventory/object research, exhibit research and design, and other academic activities in support of the daily life of a small museum. Student must also complete a research project developed in conjunction with anthropology faculty member. Student must have completed two 300-level courses in cultural anthropology and/or archaeology prior to enrolling in Mitchell Museum Internship. This internship requires the approval of the instructor, department chair, college dean, and Museum director.
