In this course, we will travel to Paris and to Provence, France. In the process, we will discover and learn about a new land and its people, but we will also discover and learn about our own land, our own people, and, ultimately, about ourselves. In particular, we will focus upon the theme of belonging to a place. What does it mean to belong to a place? What constitutes this feeling of belonging? From where and from what does this feeling stem? Can one belong in a foreign place, and what constitutes "foreignness"? Satisfies International Exploratory requirement Travel Course Costs: $2,300
