Four weeks in an accredited high school classroom. Full-time observation, participation, and teaching under the combined supervision of a public school teacher and a college supervisor. This course is offered during the winter term and fulfills three hours of the winter term requirement for graduation. Internships are available both in local and diverse settings with departmental permission. Prerequisites: Students should have previously completed GE 201, EDS 225, and SFE 284. Graded on satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. Winter Term, sophomore or junior year.
