Promotes curricular and instructional innovations for culturally diverse classrooms, including strategies for working with English Language Learners. Provides opportunities to explore and learn about ideas, people, cultures, and biases that impact how teachers conceptualize the world and requires completion of a practical service project tied to students' field experience. Taken concurrently with SFE 385 Secondary and Physical Education Majors; EFE 484 Elementary Education majors. Prerequisites: 2.5 GPA (A=4.0), and admission to teacher education program. Spring Junior year Secondary and Physical Education majors; Fall, senior year Elementary Education Majors.
