A survey of clastic depositional systems and their facies, ranging from terrestrial systems to marginal-marine and deep-marine systems. Topics will include the occurrence of depositional systems within a sequence stratigraphic framework, and the storage and migration of hydrocarbons and groundwater in these depositional systems.
