A consideration of the literary structures and theological themes of the Book of Revelation. Participants in the course will examine the culture of apocalyptic expectation, and the purposes of symbols and references in the Book of Revelation. Opportunities will be given to engage in comparative studies of other examples of apocalyptic literature contemporary with the Book of Revelation.(Prerequisite: Bible Interpretation) 2 Hours
