Analyze the economics of health and health care markets using the standard tools of microeconomics and empirical analysis. The course considers three main topics: inputs to health and the demand for medical care, structure and consequences of public and private financing of health care, and the supply of health care. Current public policy topics will be highlighted. Pre-Reqs: ECON 314 and MATH 132 or 142 or higher level of calculus course.
