This course will explore mathematical application sin human physiology that will aid in engineering medical devices. The course is intended for advanced undergraduate engineering students with a background in advanced mathematics, biomaterials, biomechanics, and transport phenomena. Topics to be covered include developmental biology, human anatomy (cardiac, renal, pulmonary and gasterointestinal), physiological function, and functional changed due to disease.
