An educational opportunity designed to engage the early childhood care and education workforce in critical thinking exercises relevant to current issues and identified best practices in the field. Each week, participants explore one of seven basic principles related to effective practices in early childhood. Learning opportunities will encourage participants to analyze current work practices and apply new-found concepts in the work setting, as framed by their program¿s curriculum and the principles explored in class. Participants will be guided in their efforts to analyze, practice and share results of lessons-learned through this face-to-face learning format, further supported by on-line discussion boards and resources.
