The body of knowledge contained in this certification has helped individuals and their organizations become more productive and competitive because it is designed to test candidates, in-depth knowledge in a variety of subjects specific to production and inventory management. The major requirement for earning the CPIM is passing the exams of the five modules that define the CPIM: Basics of Supply Chain Management, Master Planning of Resources, Detailed Scheduling and Planning, Execution and control of Operations, and Strategic Management of Resources.
