This is a 6-hour, one-day Stress Management in the Workplace course. The primary objective of the course is to gain an awareness of how stress affects our physical well being and how to reduce or control stress. Key skills learned in this course will be the legislation developed to protect our health. Also, discuss the definition of stress and how stress affects our body systems. Understanding the need to work and what factors influence work related stress will provide a foundation for self help. Common goals of the course are to use the self awareness of stress management and create a plan to use stress reducing alternatives taught in the course to reduce personal and work conflict.
