The majority of medical transcriptionists work from home, and this program is specifically focused on giving students the knowledge and practical skills necessary to obtain employment and national certification. Students focus on keyboarding, language and grammar, and medical terminology. The program also emphasizes practical experience that simulates the medical transcription workplace, and by graduation, students will have transcribed hundreds of authentic dictations, preparing for a quick and successful transition to the workplace. The program is designed to be completed in one year or less. Its online format is accessible 24/7 and allows students to learn and train at their own pace. Each student receives instruction, support and guidance from an experienced of medical transcription professionals.
