This course is designed to prepare experienced individuals for the Certified Professional Coder certification exam. It uses the American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC) course materials which includes AAPC membership and exam costs. The course covers medical terminology, anatomy systems and the current overviews on all codes. CPT, HCPCS and ICD-9-CM coding issues are organized in a way that is consistent with the most recent version of the AMA¿s Current Procedural Terminology. A thorough review of the exam procedures, regulations and practice exams for each section is given throughout the course.
