You will learn to use formatting tools, tables, and automatic features to enhance your documents. In Excel, you will create and edit spreadsheets by entering data, formatting the data, and using formulas to do automatic calculations. You will also learn to enhance your spreadsheets with charting tools to present the data in line graphs, pie charts, bar charts, and more. In PowerPoint, you will create presentations using templates and layouts, format the presentation, and learn to import pictures, charts, and graphics. You will also learn to add animation and transitions to the presentation and to incorporate speaker notes into the presentation. The workshop assumes participants understand how to use a mouse and drop-down menus, save files to some type of storage media, and perform other basic skills required to run Windows programs.
