Institution:
Ivy Tech Community College-Central Office
Subject:
Computer & IT
Description:
Project training is critical for individuals to obtain their CAPM® (Certified Associate in Project Management) credential. Since the CAPM credential recognizes professionals who have a demonstrated understanding of the fundamental knowledge, processes and terminology that are needed for effective project management performance, project training is a critical element for receiving PMP certification. CAPM professionals contribute to projects as subject matter experts and team members and can be responsible for individual project tasks in their area of expertise. They may also serve as project sponsors, facilitators, liaisons or coordinators. Like the PMP® certification, CAPM exams are lengthy and require a level of education through project training and hands-on experience.
