Introduces basic blueprint reading skills commonly used in the manufacturing industry. Areas of study include: Interpretation of drawing dimensions and notes to ANSI standards for machining including; Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT), welding, fabrication applications and inspection techniques. Students will be able to use Computer Aided Design software (CAD) to create 3D models and working drawings.
