The Practicum is an applied experience in a counseling setting selected to meet individual career goals. This experience is designed to introduce students to clinical observation, interviewing, assessment, and counseling. The course requires a minimum of 100hrs of applied experience, to be completed within six months. For students in School Counseling, the Practicum experience must be in school or youth settings. Prerequisite: Matriculated students only.
