This course is a second-level biostatistics course designed for graduate students in public health, health sciences, and health services research who plan to engage in applied research. This course is a continuation of Biostatistics and explores inferential statistics in greater depth. The logic and assumptions underlying tests of statistical significance will be covered in depth for both parametric and non-parametric tests. Topics include analysis of variance and multiple comparisons, regression analysis, multivariate regression, logistic regression, and categorical data analysis. Prerequisite: Introduction to Biostatistics (old #420)
