Seminar in creative work in the various techniques, devices, and methods of organization employed in the art of composition. A course designed to acquaint the students with the various organizational styles of composing music, with the general objective of having them develop choices of their own in order to establish unique compositional languages. Prerequisite: a basic knowledge of music theory and harmony, MU101 and 102 or the equivalent; basic music history and literature.
