This course is designed for beginning artists or students in any discipline who want to keep a sketchbook of their travel experience in Sicily. This class focuses on: drawing skills required to observe, express, and communicate visually, with pencil, watercolor, crayon and pen. Students will design and artists' sketchbook based on their own curiosity and interests, and in class, we will explore the historical center of Syracuse and other sites in Sicily, through walking and sketching: city streets, architectual details, historic sites, the Sicilian countryside, and museums.
