Provides information on lesson planning, management strategies, setting up student routines and protocols, inclusive practice, and effective observation techniques. There is a field component for pre-service school librarians to observe and reflect in both classroom and library settings. Taken the semester before the practicum, it is designed to increase pre-service librarians' expertise of the more pragmatic activities found in teaching. This workshop is required for non-certified individuals seeking the School Library certification. Prerequisite: Updated PA/FBI clearances required on the 1st class day; www.arcadia.edu/edudept
