			The principles of thermodynamics will be investigated from a modern statistical point of view based upon ensemble theory. This includes Maxwell-Boltzmann, Fermi-Dirac, and Bose-Einstein statistics, transport phenomena, thermal interactions, kinetic theory and applications to a variety of molecular systems.
