Travel abroad to study the marketing functions performed in a foreign market economy. Lectures, readings, observation and interviews will be employed to study the marketing functions of the foreign economy. Learn how pricing, promotion, distribution and product decisions are made in a market economy other than that of the U.S. Additional topics to be covered are: ethics; environmental factors; consumer behavior; the role of government and competitive forces.
