This course will explore techniques and practices in technical theater production and technical direction for theater. Topics will
include advanced carpentry, metalwork, theater rigging, structural design, drafting, budgeting and theater safety with a focus on proper technique, craftsmanship and efficiency. The class will consist of both lecture and hands-on work. Students will complete a series of projects relevant to the topics covered.
