This course is an introduction to all things technical in theater. Students will learn the fundamentals of the technical process required to mount a theatrical production including scenic, lighting, sound and costumes. Students will gain an introductory knowledge of the basic tools, materials, communication methods and techniques to create a theatrical design and bring it to the stage as a fully realized production. Note: Theater majors must pass Theater 1411 with a grade of C or better. Prior to spring 2009, the course title was “Technical Theater Production.”
