A course in labor economics with specific application to women in paid and unpaid
employment. The course explores alternative economic theories of the labor
market and economic approaches to discrimination as well as historic changes in
the nature of unpaid and paid work. These theories are then applied to the
economic situation of women in the U.S. and other societies.
