Introduction to basic statistical methods and their application to criminal justice data. Covers both descriptive and inferential statistics. Topics include frequency distributions, measures of central tendency and dispersion, and basic hypothesis testing. Note: This course can be used to satisfy the university Core Quantitative Reasoning B (QB) requirement. Although it may be usable towards graduation as a major requirement or university elective, it cannot be used to satisfy any of the university GenEd requirements.
