This course is an introduction to Book Arts. It includes both traditional and contemporary approaches as well as working with the book as a sculptural medium. Students will be encouraged to experiment with a wide variety of materials and processes and will learn to make several book structures to use as a means of expressing narrative and sequential concepts through which they will develop conceptual abilities and technical proficiencies.
