This course focuses on developing teaching competence. The following will be addressed: models of teaching for achieving instructional outcomes in career and technical areas; using performance standards to prepare and present content lessons; evaluation of instructional outcomes; integration of technology in instruction; serving students with special needs; creating an environment for student learning, differentiated instruction.

Note: General familiarity with internet searching and navigation necessary. Some course assignments will be posted on Blackboard. Students are to inquire with the program for technical equipment requirements.
