A tutorial opportunity for a student to work with a faculty member to investigate areas of study not covered by courses in the department. Available as an elective for Biology major credit by petition to the Biology Honors Committee prior to registration. The student must make a written agreement with a Biology faculty member detailing the course of study to be followed and the mechanism of evaluation. Note: Agreement must be submitted to the Biology Undergraduate Advisor and the Biology Honors Committee for approval. This course can be taken a maximum of two times; only one of these can count toward Biology elective requirements.
