This upper-level course introduces a wide range of processes that integrate digital and darkroom techniques and aesthetics to produce work in this new genre of photography. The students must have experience with both darkroom and digital photography. Aesthetic problems are posed that use the formal characteristics of these special media to support image content to best advantage.

Note: Prior to Fall 2008, this course was titled “Introduction to Hybrid Photography”.
