A series of practical, topical courses that deal with aspects of archaeological fieldwork and laboratory analysis. The topic or focus of the course varies by semester and includes: field methods; pottery analysis; lithic analysis; sediments, soils and stratigraphy. Because the topic changes by semester, students may take Anthropology 3170 more than once. Mode: Seminar, hands-on exercises and experiential learning.
