Learn how to plan and manage global information systems projects by focusing on initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing projects in the context of topics such as integration, scope, timing, cost, quality, human resource, technology, communications, and risk and procurement. Learn how to monitor project plans and communicate status reports to clients, and create and respond to request for proposals.

Note: The MIS major has changed beginning fall semester 2008 for freshmen. The pre-requisite listed for MIS 3535 only applies to freshman admitted 2008 and after. The pre-requisite for MIS 3535 for pre-fall 2008 or transfer students is MIS 3596. A grade of a C or better is required in this course to register for MIS 4596. Mode: 3 hour lecture.
