This course introduces students to professional business practices needed to be a successful freelance artist in a creative field. Students will learn the importance of self-branding in order to promote their particular product/service offering. There is a focus on writing legal and financial documents, including contracts, estimates, and invoices. Other legal and ethical responsibilities of freelance artists will also be studied.
