Introduction to broadcast teaches students the basics of shooting, editing, and writing scripts to produce television news features based on events and topics students cover in the Pittsburgh area. Instruction includes basic reporting techniques, writing for broadcast, voice training, operating the camera and digital ediitng. Recommended to take concurrent with or subsequent to COM251.
