Students engage in a detailed and in-depth investigation of Old Testament writings from literary, historical, and contemporary Christian faith perspectives. As part of this study of God's selfcommunication in history, this course provides a critical understanding of and appreciation for the major figures and events of the Old Testament through a reading of selected passages from the Pentateuch, historical and prophetic books, and Wisdom Literature. Prerequisite: THEO 104.
