An exploration of the wide variety of traditional credit systems available in today’s world of higher education. Students are introduced to the PLA (Prior Learning Assessment) system, where a portfolio of individual essays is evaluated for college credit, the evaluation system for military training, the College Level Exam Program (CLEP), and the evaluation of professional training programs. Prerequisite: Consent of instructor.
